    Compliance Support Administrator, Insurance (Hybrid)

    About The Role
    We are looking for a highly motivated individual that is multitask orientated and computer proficient. In this role, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the Insurance Compliance Team. Primary duties of this position include support of a busy team in e-mail and document management, identification of agent enforcement, effective audit and follow up, data reporting and project work.

    What You'll Do

    Responsible for supporting the insurance compliance department functions and projects including Broker Suitability and Business Conduct, Data Analysis and Audit and Complaint Management.

  • Email Management: Assume management of a busy team mailbox to ensure priority emails are dealt with and documented efficiently.

  • Broker Suitability: Review regulatory enforcement sites to identify information concerning the activities of brokers contracted with HUB. Review broker accounts and escalate areas of concern relating to poor credit, incomplete or expired compliance documents, regulatory enforcement and conduct activities. Document and escalate any actions required for compliance issues based on facts gathered from Insurance Councils, Carrier Head Offices or other information obtained by HUB.

  • Broker Terminations: Prepare HUB Financial broker termination letters and communications to relevant parties.

  • Complaint Management Support: Coordinate and report on the progress of client complaints through to completion. Assist with collection of data, document management, communications and follow ups.

  • Broker Practice Reviews: Initiate and manage the broker practice review process, coordinating with advisors and compliance teams to gather necessary documentation and ensuring timely follow-up on identified issues or corrective action items.

  • Data Analysis and Report Preparation: Collaborate with team members to identify efficiencies with the information obtained from Insurers and HUB systems to produce quality and effective reporting of sales and business conduct trends pertaining to audit and monitoring of insurance brokers.

  • Project Management: Assist with and coordinate project work as assigned.

  • What You'll Need for Success

  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office (excel, outlook, word & power point)

  • Detail oriented and good organizational skills

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Good project management skills

  • Ability to apply common sense thinking

  • Strong sense of confidentiality

  • 1-3 years office experience

  • Life insurance background is an asset.

  • Experience with WealthServ or other industry back-office systems is an asset

  • College diploma or equivalent preferred

  • Bilingual in French and English is an asset

    Compensation
    The expected salary range for this position is $40,000 to $43,000 and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate's skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position's business line, scope and level.
