Our Opening and Your Responsibilities
Mettler Toledo is seeking to hire a Field Service Technician for its Laboratory division in Toronto, who will report to the Regional Service Manager.
As a Field Service Technician you will troubleshoot and repair industry related products at customer locations.You will also perform calibrations and preventative maintenance duties as scheduled, resolve first line customer service issues and accurate completion of documentation and related service reports.
Other Duties and Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and repair all Mettler Toledo products within the Business Group
- Perform system and equipment installations, calibrations and preventative maintenance duties as required
- Ensure customer uptime requirements are met
- Complete system configuration and testing, review and sign off on completed projects
- Coordinate business information to customers, sales engineers and associates, lead the efforts in promoting and selling service incomeproducing products
- Responsible for resolving first line customer complaints and invoicing problems
- Weekly reporting of current projects, complete record keeping on time
What You Need to Succeed
- Minimum 2year college diploma or degree in Engineering, Electronics, Technology or Computer Science. or equivalent education and experience in a technical support role, technical troubleshooting or technical installation in industrial electronics, or electromechanical technology industry
- Must be willing to work overtime
- Must have a valid Driver's license
- Ability to travel within Canada and the U.S.
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
