    Description
    Job Description:
    Reporting to the Maintenance Planning and Reliability General Foreman, the chosen candidate will work at the Lac des Iles mine site with a rotation schedule to be determined.


    Responsibilities:
    • Ensure the functionality of problematic equipment and suggest long-lasting solutions
    • Monitor and take actions based on real-time data and key indicators such as vibration monitoring, oil sampling, NDT, UE, and thermography, among others
    • Manage risks, gather and assess data to back up and kickstart predictive maintenance initiatives
    • Collaborate on the enhancement and evaluation of predictive/preventative maintenance schemes
    • Track components, follow up on component failures with OEM, and monitor warranties
    • Prepare and conduct RCA reports regarding equipment breakdowns
    • Perform FMEA to enhance the PM Program
    • Assist the Maintenance, Planning, and Operations teams in predicting shutdowns and other related duties

    Qualifications:

    • University Degree or certification in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or a related field, or a minimum of 5 years of maintenance/reliability experience in a mining and milling environment
    • Experience with Reliability Centered Maintenance, including PDM, condition monitoring, criticality analysis, and RCA, is seen as a plus
    • Working towards or a member of a professional body (P.Eng, CMRP, CMRT, MMP, MLA, MLT, etc.) is beneficial
    • Understanding of equipment dynamics, machinery maintenance, and equipment information systems
    • Strong planning and prioritization skills – focus on both proactive and reactive indicators requiring attention
    • Fluency in spoken and written English
    • Proficient with MS Office, MS Project, AutoCAD, CMMS
    • Skilled problem solver utilizing various methodologies
    • Technical writing aptitude and proficient communication
    • Familiarity with OSI PI is advantageous
