- General office work – typing, filing, use of computers and dealing with the public daily;
- Set up Membership Committee meetings, take minutes;
- Process Indian status certificates (treaty cards);
- Assist parents with process of registering children for status;
- Assist Band Members with assorted forms and applications;
- Liaise closely with external agencies including INAC, Vital Statistics (Sask.), etc.;
- Some traveling will be required to assist with population statistics, Treaty Days, etc.
- Minimum Grade 12 Diploma or equivalent;
- Certificate in Office Education or related training is preferred;
- Excellent computer skills;
- Must have excellent verbal, written, and communication skills;
- Proven interpersonal and organizational skills;
- Punctual and reliable;
- Must have valid driver's license and own reliable vehicle;
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality;
- Previous experience in related field would be an asset;
- Ability to speak Cree is an asset;
- Must provide a satisfactory Criminal Record Check and Driver's Abstract
