One position in Vancouver, where you would support our 3 Vancouver Offices, Burrard, Vancouver City Centre and our East Hastings Location

One position in Kamloops, where you would support our Kamloops North and South Office Locations

We will train Previous experience as a Marketing Coordinator, Sales Representative, Business Administrator, Recruiter or Talent Acquisition Specialist, Job Developer, Case Manager, Career Counsellor or Advisor is considered an asset.

Key responsibilities include:

Job sustainment:

Supporting access to necessary resources to support clients journey to sustained employment and following up with clients once they have become employed to provide any needed post-placement support.

Providing post-hire support to employers to promote the long-term employment placements of clients.

Recruitment of new clients:

Educating potential new clients about our services, what we can do to support them in their job search, what programs we have to offer, eligibility requirements and giving clients the right tools to access our services.

Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications

Diploma in Marketing, Sales, Business Administration or Community Social Service, or a related field;
Recent, related experience of three (3) years;
Or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
CCDP Certification considered an asset.
Valid BC driver's license required and access to a motor vehicle.
Must pass a criminal background check.
As per the current Public Health Orders (Long Term Care/Seniors Assisted Living Provincial Health Officer Order and the Health Sector Order), as of October 26, 2021, all employees working for Open Door Group must be fully vaccinated for COVID19. Proof of vaccination status will be required.

Skills and Abilities

Demonstrated ability and passion to establish and maintain positive rapport with a diverse profile of people including job seekers, employers and community in general.

Knowledge of the local labour market trends and training/employment opportunities.

Demonstrated ability to motivate/coach clients and staff to learn new skills and achieve positive outcomes.
Ability to meet deadlines, manage a varied client load and work under pressure.
Time management skills, ability to prioritize; strong organizational skills a must.
Demonstrated ability to take on a leadership role.
Advanced MS Office and database skills; ability to learn and navigate online technology platforms.
