Desktop Support Analyst

HSIO, a division of Amphenol, is the market leader for high speed, high bandwidth electrical connectors for the Telecom/Datacom/Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning markets (Mobile Networks, Data Centers, Storage, Servers, Routers, Switches, etc.).

Our global headquarters are in Nashua, NH, and we have global design, sales and manufacturing locations.We are seeking a skilled and customer-oriented IT Desktop Support Analyst to join our IT team.
WHAT DOES A DESKTOP SUPPORT ANALYST DO?
Roles and responsibilities:
Technical Troubleshooting:
Identify and resolve hardware and software issues promptly and efficiently. Collaborate with the IT team to escalate and address complex problems.
System Maintenance:
Conduct routine maintenance activities on desktop systems and associated hardware. Ensure antivirus and security software are up to date on all devices.
User Training:
Conduct user training sessions to enhance end-users understanding of technology. Create and update user guides and documentation.
Asset Management:
Maintain accurate records of IT assets, including desktops, laptops, and peripherals. Coordinate asset procurement, inventory management, and disposal.
Remote Support:
Provide remote assistance to off-site users, ensuring consistent support quality.
Collaboration:
Collaborate with other IT team members to address complex technical issues.
Work closely with IT leadership to implement and improve IT processes.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Computer Science, Networking, or related discipline
- Minimum of 5 years related work experience
- Proficient in MS Office 365 (install, setup, & troubleshooting)
- Knowledge in Networking (DHCP, DNS)
- Experience with VMware or other hypervisors
- Customer Service experience
- Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory (preferred)
- Intermediate hardware & software troubleshooting skills in Microsoft Windows based environment
