The Role:
We are looking for an organized Project Coordinator/Administrator to provide interior design-related clerical and administrative support to the High-Rise Construction Manager and Design Manager.
As the Project Coordinator/Administrator, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Planning, organizing, and implementing design-related projects.
- Preparing documentation, including project budgets and schedules.
- Keeping meeting minutes and initiating requests for information to keep updated.
- Managing and coordinating team calendars and communication.
- Reporting on project progress, costs, and projections.
- Following up with consultants, coordinating consultant meetings, and preparing for meetings.
- Creating scope comparison charts.
- Assisting in shop drawing reviews.
- Assisting with review of drawings (ID, architectural, electrical, mechanical).
- Assisting with budgeting/estimating.
- Assisting with creating highrise upgrade program.
- Completing takeoffs and summary charts.
- Creating project specific master finishes chart and obtaining vendor pricing.
- Compiling completed colour charts and verifying pricing for internal use.
- Tracking, summarizing, and distributing project colour charts for trade and construction use.
- Tracking, summarizing, and distributing project colour charts for construction use
- Completing site walkthroughs, as required.
- Leading small to medium projects from start to finish.
- Other duties as required to facilitate the role.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Travel is required within Toronto and the GTA
- Valid Driver's License Required
- Interior Design background is preferred
- Administrative experience is an asset
- Ability to provide project administration support
- Ability to maintain accurate data
- Must demonstrate initiative, diligence and followthrough
- Must demonstrate strong problemsolving and organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
- Ability to communicate effectively and keep internal updated on task progress
- Ability to communicate roadblocks and ask for assistance when needed
- Efficient in Bluebeam, CAD, Microsoft Project, Excel
- Experience in Sketchup, Photoshop, Illustrator preferred
