Description

Objective:
To work with the Housekeeping team to attain the cleanliness and Guest Service standard required by the hotel.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for daily cleaning of guestrooms

Respond to guest requests in an empathetic and timely manner.

Maximizes cleaning effectiveness by prioritizing tasks with Guest Services and Maintenance departments regarding the status of rooms, guest requests, and upkeep and repair issues.

Ensure the correct handling of lost guest property in accordance with Hotel procedures

Ensures safety procedures are followed when working with equipment and/or chemicals

Works in a safe manner following all Occupational Health & Safety procedures

Ensures storage rooms and carts are clean and stocked appropriately

Ensure adherence to the Hotel's policy regarding security of bedroom and keys

Performs duties in accordance with established support standards

Any other duties as assigned

Flexible and energetic with the ability to work under pressure

Works well individually as well within a team environment

Detail oriented.

Physical Demands:
Sitting: 0-1/day; walking: 6-8/day; standing: up to 8 hr/day; bending/reaching: 4-8 hr/day; pushing/pulling: 1-2 hr/day; physical effort: could be lifting up to 35 lbs

Salary:
$18.48-$19.48 per hour
