What We Need:


Do you love working with data and solving problems? Are you detail-oriented and organized? In this position, you'll support our utility clients with data analysis, exception management, and data synchronization across utility systems, including the AMI (Advanced Meter Infrastructure), the centralized meter data repository (MDM/R), the CIS (Customer Information System) and the utility ODS (Operational Data Storage).


What You'll Do:


  • Collect data and conduct data analysis, review reports, manage, and resolve exceptions (errors) across multiple systems
  • Verify AMI meter data and monitor for issues
  • Issue and monitor service orders
  • Troubleshoot problems related to AMI business processes to determine possible solutions; present options to the business which will determine new policies and procedures
  • Analyze data and identify use cases that translate into business benefits
  • Prepare a daily summary identifying system service level commitments and key performance indicators
  • Identify and implement new ways to enhance business processes
  • Update business processes using Microsoft Word and IBM Blueworks Live
  • Lead regular update meetings with customers
  • Act as a liaison between the customer and vendors
  • Assist with ad hoc testing initiatives
  • Provide cross support within the department and with other teams

What You'll Bring:


Experience and Education:


  • University degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or Statistics
  • 35 years of utility sector experience preferred, including familiarity with AMI, MDM/R, CIS, or ODS

Skills:


  • Programming language skills, such as SQL, Oracle, and Python
  • Ability to analyse, model and interpret data
  • Superior analytical and problemsolving skills

Working Conditions:
