Description

Responsibilities:


  • Complete material takeoffs on elevation drawings
  • Work closely with production, purchasing and scheduling departments to identify material required for production orders
  • Participate in quarterly inventory counts
  • Learn all material profiles and colours
  • Understand material utilization and requirements on site for installation
  • Assist with materials optimization
  • Utilize ERP system to audit material requirements for shop orders
  • Prepare required paperwork to Production for picking of materials
  • Assist with staging, organizing and prioritizing materials for production

Qualifications:


  • Secondary school completion is required
  • Supply chain materials coordination experience an asset
  • Ability to read and understand architectural drawings
  • Auto CAD experience is an asset
  • Must be highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Aluminum Window Wall and Door Manufacturing or other building materials experience an asset.

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
