Job Title:

IT SUPPORT SPECIALIST

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • 2+ years of related experience
  • Associate's Degree or higher
- preferred to have one or more MSP, CCNA, CompTIA A+, and Network + certificates


WORK DUTIES:

  • Provide customer service and technical support to endusers for hardware and software and IP telephony
  • Diagnose, research, and resolve routine enduser issues promptly through established protocol and troubleshooting; escalate as necessary
  • Communicate and translate technical information to nontechnical endusers; maintain communication and monitor incidents through resolution
  • Train employees on new devices and technologies
  • Install the software on new or existing devices, by standard procedures
  • Assist in the setup of new IT equipment and devices
  • Assist users in obtaining access to systems
  • Utilize and maintain knowledge bases, FAQs, and vendor/provider documentation
  • Contribute to documentation of incidents, internal processes and procedures, maintenance of equipment, and training manuals
  • Assist with preventative maintenance within specified guidelines and procedures
  • May review and evaluate new computer hardware and software products
- tracking of hardware and software inventory

  • Assist and interact with hardware and software vendors
  • Participate in committees, projects, and companywide initiatives.

Job Types:
Full-time, Casual


Salary:
$55,338.00-$60,470.00 per year
