Job Title:
IT SUPPORT SPECIALIST
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- 2+ years of related experience
- Associate's Degree or higher
WORK DUTIES:
- Provide customer service and technical support to endusers for hardware and software and IP telephony
- Diagnose, research, and resolve routine enduser issues promptly through established protocol and troubleshooting; escalate as necessary
- Communicate and translate technical information to nontechnical endusers; maintain communication and monitor incidents through resolution
- Train employees on new devices and technologies
- Install the software on new or existing devices, by standard procedures
- Assist in the setup of new IT equipment and devices
- Assist users in obtaining access to systems
- Utilize and maintain knowledge bases, FAQs, and vendor/provider documentation
- Contribute to documentation of incidents, internal processes and procedures, maintenance of equipment, and training manuals
- Assist with preventative maintenance within specified guidelines and procedures
- May review and evaluate new computer hardware and software products
- Assist and interact with hardware and software vendors
- Participate in committees, projects, and companywide initiatives.

$55,338.00-$60,470.00 per year
