    Description

    Job Title: Director of Asset Reliability

    Company: Maple Leaf Foods

    Description: Reporting to the Vice President of Asset Reliability, Industrial Engineering, and Sustainability Execution, this role oversees the Asset Management & Reliability program across the Maple Leaf Foods Network. The Director will lead the modernization and deployment of the central strategy, focusing on reducing mechanical/electrical downtime and enhancing asset reliability. They will play a key role in setting the direction for reliability, asset management, and maintenance across the global manufacturing facilities.

    Snapshot of Responsibilities:

    • Collaborating with factories to address reliability concerns
    • Partnering to refresh the Asset Reliability strategic roadmap
    • Deploying and executing the strategic roadmap at all facilities
    • Meeting and exceeding reliability targets
    • Assessing factory performance, analyzing gaps, and establishing asset care programs
    • Identifying and mitigating reliability risks
    • Developing and directing asset management activities
    • Creating maintenance capital plans
    • Implementing standardized processes and governance
    • Providing technical leadership for improvement projects
    • Supporting recruitment and development of reliability staff
    • Participating in industry benchmarking activities
    • Developing and executing the Asset Reliability People Strategy

    Requirements:

    • BSc in relevant Engineering discipline
    • 15+ years of experience in asset intensive industries
    • 10+ years of leadership experience
    • Experience in leading large-scale programs
    • Strong cross-functional leadership skills
