- Join the cutting-edge of cancer treatment by becoming part of our Clinical Trials Unit
- We are seeking Registered Nurses with experience in clinical trials and oncology nurses interested in expanding their knowledge in the exciting field of clinical research
- Assist in coordinating clinical research trials, identifying potential participants, and ensuring trial compliance according to study protocol
- Work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment that demands flexibility
- Conduct patient assessments, management, and education, including obtaining informed consent and administering questionnaires
- Execute all aspects of study visits, including assessments, adverse event monitoring, safety checks, and questionnaire administration
- Make autonomous clinical decisions daily and adhere to high-quality service standards
- Oversee patient management during studies and liaise with various stakeholders
- Prepare Research Ethics Board applications and support with Health Canada, Sponsor, and/or FDA Audits
- Perform blood collection and ECG monitoring as required
- Graduation from an accredited nursing education program
- Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA)
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP) certification
- If not actively practicing as an RN, completion of CRNA Medication Management and NextGenU Health Assessment Resources Certification courses
