    Description
    itec is actively seeking a skilled PLC Programmer with 2-5 years of experience in Allen Bradley systems for a client based in the Hamilton region. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining PLC programs to support our manufacturing processes.
    Key Responsibilities:
    • PLC Programming: Develop, troubleshoot, and modify PLC programs using Allen Bradley software (RSLogix 5000 or similar).
    • System Integration: Integrate PLC systems with other manufacturing equipment and control systems to ensure seamless operation.
    • HMI Development: Design and implement Human Machine Interface (HMI) screens for operator interaction and process monitoring.
    • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve PLC-related issues to minimize downtime and optimize production efficiency.
    Requirements:
    • Electrical Technician Diploma or Licensed Electrician
    • 2-5 years of hands-on experience in PLC programming (Allen Bradley)
    • Familiarity with HMI development tools (FactoryTalk View, PanelView).
    • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
    • The ability to travel throughout Ontario & Eastern United States
