JOB SUMMARY:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Comply and enforce Occupational Health and Safety standards and practices.
Perform general cleanup of all facilities.
Sweep, mop, floors, dump garbage and recycle bins.
Assist with the maintenance and repair of all equipment and machinery as required.
Perform regular property inspections of common areas, building exteriors, and landscape.
Ensure effective management of maintenance, landscaping, snow removal, ventilation, heating, cooling and other daily activities.
Provide general status reports as necessary.
Collect and dispose of all garbage and recyclables.
Ensure 24/7 availability of emergency services.
Perform minor repairs on windows, doors, switches, desks, tables, plugs, equipment, appliances, sinks, toilets, blinds etc.
Maintain working knowledge of environmental safeguards and alarm systems.
Maintain outside grounds (remove snow, ice, and debris, spray and remove weeds, sweep, and clean gutters, water and maintain sprinkling systems).
Determine needed supplies and equipment.
Read equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
Diagnose problems, replace, or repair parts, test and adjust.
Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment.
Detect faulty operations or material and report those and any unusual situations to supervisor.
Set priorities for preventative maintenance work orders, maintenance requisitions and other scheduled work.
Prepare, paint, and decorate interior and exterior surfaces, as required.
Lifting up to 50 lbs
Preload fuel trucks, as required
Other related duties as required or assigned.
