    The Sinai Shop is unique within the Canadian healthcare marketplace. Launched in August 8, the Shop is a combination of an online and brick and mortar commercial business. Geared towards providing a selection of medically relevant products and other items to the Sinai community. Product lines include prenatal, maternal, infant clothing, geriatric and physiotherapy items, gifts and Sinai branded merchandise.

    Our Team is seeking an enthusiastic individual who is committed to creating a diverse, equitable and inclusive culture focused on delivering exceptional customer experiences. The Sinai Shop is open Monday to Friday am-3pm (subject to change). As a Casual PT Sales Associate, you will have the opportunity to support delivering sales plans through selling effectiveness.

    Responsibilities:

  • Greeting, meeting and engaging with customers
  • Understanding and through knowledge of the features and benefits of all our products
  • Managing customer relationships and reinforcing customer buying decisions at checkout
  • Opening and closing the Shop
  • Replenishing merchandise on the sales floor and to brand standards
  • Assisting with monthly and annual inventory
  • Contributing ideas around marketing, communication, and merchandising strategies
  • Maintaining Shop cleanliness
  • Conducting cart visits on Mother and Baby units and solving any customer queries
  • Assisting with sale "Pop-ups" on Main Floor
  • Abiding by Hospital policies and procedures as advised
  • Promoting loyalty by educating customers
  • Assisting with other projects as needed
  • Other duties as required

    • Job Requirements
  • Two or more years of previous retail sales, e-commerce, marketing experience preferred
  • Demonstrated success in driving sales and building customer loyalty
  • Experience using POS through Shopify, an asset
  • Self-starter with a "can-do" attitude
  • Works well independently and with various teams
  • Experience with Google Analytics and AD words
  • Excellent communication and problem solving skills
  • Able to lift up to pounds, as well as constant standing, walking, kneeling, squatting, bending, reaching overhead with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Able to accomplish multiple tasks in a very fast-paced environment
  • Flexible with scheduling and available to work within our retail hours and meet our needs
