    Solutions Engineer

    Client: Enterprise Technology

    Duration: 6-month rolling contract

    Location: Montreal - Hybrid

    What You'll Do

    The CX Solution Engineer is an advisor and technical specialist that engages with customers to accelerate their adoption of our products & solutions that transform their business. The role resides within the Customer Experience (CX) organization, one of fastest-growing teams.

    As an engineer, you will demonstrate thought leadership in solving customer problems, participate in projects from requirement capture to production deployment, be an integral team member of a delivery team and maintain relationships with our customers.

    Who You'll Work With

    The CX Engineer role is a highly visible, technical role within our Customer Experience organization. We build deep relationships with our customers, partners, and the extended team members to help them achieve their goals. With the transformation to software subscription, the role of CX is crucial, we are writing history and you can contribute to and help craft this ambitious journey we are on.

    Who You Are

    • You are experienced in delivering sophisticated software solutions that are hosted in local data centres or in the cloud, taking ownership of the full life cycle of a solution.
    • You can work autonomously as well as in a team.
    • You can capture requirements, scope and articulate a solution, contribute to high and low-level designs, define user stories and be an active participant in an agile team.
    • You are comfortable addressing customers and internal teams.
    • You understand customers' business goals and how to address them with technical solutions and operational processes.
    • As a trusted adviser you are able to influence customers to make sound tactical and strategic decisions to achieve their business outcomes.
    • You are passionate about technology and always seeking to learn more.

    Required Experience

    • Proven track record of successful project delivery, 4 years or more
    • Experience in customer facing engagements
    • Strong understanding in solution architecture, API design and interaction, integration principles and patterns
    • Experience of working in Agile teams using DevOps and CI/CD toolset
    • Strong software engineering experience, 4 years or more with strong skills in Java, JavaScript, Node JS, and Python
    • Knowledge of Cloud technologies, e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, MS Azure.
    • Knowledge of key frameworks, platforms, technologies and protocols for Software Orchestration and Automation of Networks (SDN).
    • Experience of Cisco Network Service Orchestrator a plus
    • BSc Computer Science or equivalent
