  • Purpose of Role:
  • CIS Outside Technical Sales Representatives conducts sales out in the field via face-to-face interactions with both potential and existing customers to establish strong and long-lasting relationships. Our outside sales representatives sell industrial products such as liners, buckets, bucket components, mechanical assemblies, pumps, pipe and chutes to business and industrial clients.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Account Management: Takes a proactive approach to managing customer relationships and stays active in forecasting needs to ensure high level of customer satisfaction is achieved.
  • Relationships: Success in this role is built around the ability to build trust and relationships with external customers and internal team mates. Working as a team and utilize each others strengths is how we show up and do our best work for our customers.
  • Technical Resource: This role will spend a majority of time in the field working with customers in both ground engaging and underground environments. Read technical drawings and supply feedback and solutions to customers in partnership with our engineering team is critical.
  • Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:

  • Any equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered if someone is able to meet the focus areas above.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical drawings, blueprints and product details.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of MS Excel; Inventory software; Order processing systems and Contact Management systems.
Must have valid driver's license in good standing, WHMIS, NORCAT, site specific safety training.
