Duties and Responsibilities:

Reporting to the President and Vice-Chancellor as a key member of the executive team, the Provost and Vice-President (Academic) is the chief academic officer and chief budget officer of the University, responsible for strategic and academic planning, resource allocation and enhancing an environment of academic excellence and innovation for students, faculty and staff.

Supported by an outstanding team of Deans and Associate Vice-Presidents, the Provost will continue to foster an environment that promotes equity, diversity and inclusion and that allows creativity, research, community-engaged scholarship and teaching excellence to flourish.
