The
Building + Places Division of AECOM is actively seeking a creative, highly talented Electrical CADD Technologist/ Electrical BIM Modeller (Revit) for immediate employment in the Markham office.

Job Summary:
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

CAD operating and designing for Electrical systems using Revit, MicroStation and AutoCAD
Ensuring overall data quality and integrity
Preparing Electrical design drawings
Preparing documentation for design projects and reports
Undertaking quality control procedures
Working within a team environment and being able to communicate effectively with other project team members and customers
Assuring that engineering related issues are promptly relayed to the Project Manager for action, and supporting timeliness of resolution effort

Qualifications Minimum Requirements**:

Associates or Technical degree in Engineering Design Drafting, Electrical or Electrical Engineering Technology + 6 years of related experience in a consulting environment
Experience with Revit, MicroStation, AutoCAD (version 2010 or later) and 3D capable

Preferred Qualifications:

Basic design skills in lighting, power and fire alarm
Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Excel and Word
Excellent attention to detail
Possess excellent written and communication skills and be able to communicate effectively with colleagues, contractors, and clients
Valid driver's license

Offered rate of compensation in will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The salary range for this position is $61, ,000.
