The
Building + Places Division of AECOM is actively seeking a creative, highly talented Electrical CADD Technologist/ Electrical BIM Modeller (Revit) for immediate employment in the Markham office.
Job Summary:
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
- CAD operating and designing for Electrical systems using Revit, MicroStation and AutoCAD
- Ensuring overall data quality and integrity
- Preparing Electrical design drawings
- Preparing documentation for design projects and reports
- Undertaking quality control procedures
- Working within a team environment and being able to communicate effectively with other project team members and customers
- Assuring that engineering related issues are promptly relayed to the Project Manager for action, and supporting timeliness of resolution effort
Qualifications Minimum Requirements**:
- Associates or Technical degree in Engineering Design Drafting, Electrical or Electrical Engineering Technology + 6 years of related experience in a consulting environment
- Experience with Revit, MicroStation, AutoCAD (version 2010 or later) and 3D capable
Preferred Qualifications:
- Basic design skills in lighting, power and fire alarm
- Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Excel and Word
- Excellent attention to detail
- Possess excellent written and communication skills and be able to communicate effectively with colleagues, contractors, and clients
- Valid driver's license

- Offered rate of compensation in will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The salary range for this position is $61, ,000.
