Position Summary:

Cloud Operations & Automation Student engineers are the hands-on, technical primes for COA.

Working in an agile team, you will leverage your cloud and DevOps technical skills to manage systems, automate provision of infrastructure, and assist the COA team members on resolving ServiceNow incidents and preparing documentation of cloud services in Azure.

You will work closely with architects, security engineers, operations support and project leads to build enterprise grade solutions.


What you'll do:


  • Perform administrative tasks on Linux and Windows systems using automation tools (Bash, Powershell ,Python)
  • Leverage automation strategies to validate compliance with corporate policies and standards
  • Troubleshoot devops incidents and establish quality solutions to reduce development time
  • Create and maintain technical documentation for supported cloud services on the Azure platform
  • Utilize excellent verbal and written communication skills to drive seamless collaboration across crossfunctional teams

What you've done:


  • 3rd or 4th year student enrolled in a computer engineering or computer sciences program
  • Completion of one or more work terms in IT
  • Excellent communication skills written and oral
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data
  • Must have a willingness to learn, the motivation of a selfstarter, and the confidence to communicate effectively with various Enterprise Architecture partners.
