**À propos du poste***

We are looking for someone to support the financial oversight of IFC's Canadian real estate portfolio and to help us identify opportunities to meet our optimization, climate and people goals. We are open to provide training to the right person who brings the right attitude.

**What you'll do here**:
**Prepare and support the financial accounting, reporting, and budgeting process**
- Provide technical IFRS 16 accounting guidance and offer support on other accounting policies related to lease accounting (i.e. IAS 36, IAS 37) to all finance regions across Canada
- Develop the valuation approach for key transactions
- Perform reasonability tests and analyze the impacts of changes to the portfolio (i.e. impairments, reassessments, etc.)
- Perform key controls alongside of the finance regions to ensure the completeness and accuracy of month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial reporting
- Support preparation of the annual corporate real estate budget including forecasting and benchmarking analysis. Maintain monthly budget vs. actual results and insights analysis

**Provide management reporting and insights**
- Prepare and maintain monthly and quarterly portfolio dashboards, reporting, and other management tools related to portfolio monitoring, key performance metrics, climate and people impacts. Ensure accuracy and usability for stakeholders
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to build consensus and identify emerging trends and opportunities for optimization
- Participate and assist in special projects to support the broader team

**Manage our real estate database tool**
- Maintain the real estate database including responsibility for its completeness and accuracy
- Enter real estate portfolio changes into the tool and provide journal entries from the tool to the finance regions, as needed
- Perform reconciliations between the tool and financial reporting systems
- Seek to continuously improve the tool, its use in the business, and our key controls
- Provide training and technical support to all finance regions on the tool (ad-hoc)
- Participate in the transition of real estate leases between tools, as needed

**What you bring to the table**:

- CPA in good standing
- is required
years of professional work experience in accounting, audit, finance, or consulting type role
- Advanced proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Experience working with the relevant accounting standards, experience with real estate data-bases - is an asset
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Hyper attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Self-driven
- Bilingual (French and English) Need to interact on a regular basis with an English-speaking clientele and colleagues across the country.
