About the role
We're looking for a Manager, Facility, to join our growing team

What you'll do here:

Act as the unit's underwriting authority on issues related to risk pricing, selection and retention governed by the parameters described in the Facility Association Rules and Rates Manual.
Recommend and implement business strategies, process improvement initiatives and workflow enhancements to improve the broker experience and drive greater efficiency
Work closely with the National Team Coordinators on Training and Development programs and onboarding of new employees.
Assist in the preparation of departmental budgets, production reports and/or other management responsibilities.
Manage daytoday activities to meet production goals, ensure compliance, audit, performance and quality standards are achieved and maintained at the defined service level agreements utilizing all available resources in a costeffective manner.
Liaise with other underwriting managers nationally, the Facility Association and claims management on technical and administrative issues.
Drive results by implementing appropriate performance expectations and management through effectively coaching and mentoring employees.
Provide effective leadership by continuously keeping staff informed of changes or new directions and share responsibility for the overall performance, productivity and engagement of team members.
Play a key and active role in the recruitment process and hiring of employees who will deliver expectational service to our brokers.

What you bring to the table:

University degree, college diploma or any combination of equivalent education and experience
Minimum 8 to 10 years of relevant experience
Demonstrations of Intact's Leadership Success Factors
Independent ability to manage remote employees and drive business results
Able to think outsideofthebox to introduce creative and effective ways to approach challenges
Capable of influencing others to adapt to change
Outstanding organizational and time management skills
Possess strong interpersonal and people management skills
