This position is a part of the Association of the Academic Staff of the University of Alberta (AASUA).Alberta Health Services in partnership with The University of Alberta, Faculty of Medicine & Dentistry, (AHS) invites applications from pediatric infectious diseases physicians for an Assistant/Associate/Full Professor position within the Department of Child Health Alberta Health Services and the Division of Pediatric Infectious Diseases in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Alberta.
This position is a full time (1.The successful applicant will join five academic physicians in the Division of Pediatric Infectious Diseases with expertise in many areas including antimicrobial stewardship, global health, infection prevention and control, pediatric tuberculosis, transplant ID, and vaccinology, and a Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons accredited ID training program.Within the academic mandate of the Department and Division the successful candidate will participate in already existing active educational scholarship programs.

Contributions to education at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels are expected from all faculty members.MD and have completed a specialty residency in Pediatrics and Pediatric Infectious Diseases
Proven record of high-quality research achievements as evidenced by peer-reviewed funding and high impact publications
Eligible to obtain a specialist license with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta (CPSA) and hold appropriate liability coverage.
