Working with internal partners, clients, and vendors, the Payment Transactions Specialist will play a key role in issue resolution, parameter configuration, training, and testing.

General Information on the Position


Main responsibilities- Provide Optis system, product, and technical support to partners- Drive key initiatives within the Optis system including products, projects and inquiries- Work with partners and vendors on system configuration best practices and implementation- Provide consultation and leadership to drive operational outcomes- Lead critical initiatives including, but not limited to, external projects, incident response, process improvement, and employee training- Ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation of the client architecture and processing environment, product matrix, and custom processes- Manage issues to resolution including problem identification, root cause analysis, and solution implementation Establish and manage a governance structure for the transaction processing Centre of Excellence.

Other working conditions- Work place: Position located in Montreal, Calgary, Ottawa, Toronto or Winnipeg, depending on the applicant selected. The work arrangement for the position is full-time telework #LI-Remote- Travel : Occasionally- Number of jobs available : 1


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • A minimum of six years of relevant experience
  • Prior handson experience with the Fiserv Optis system and products
  • Previous program, project management and/or relevant consulting and leadership experience
  • Experience in Fintech/banking, financial services, and/or software industries
  • Project management experience including working in a customer service oriented or timesensitive environment motivated by project timeline
  • Relationship management experience
  • Experience with Credit Unions (an asset)

Specific knowledge- Knowledge of credit card and payments industry- Knowledge of the Fiserv Optis system- Knowledge of business planning and customer relationship management processes
