Summary:
The Training Specialist is responsible for the delivery of Bell training and support multiple channels including Bell, Virgin and The Source.
Curriculum includes, but not limited to:
sales skills, customer service, products and services, systems and processes.
Training Specialists customize existing training programs and validate that training programs are instructionally sound and effective for the target audiences.
Training Specialists have strong interpersonal and communication skills for a variety of delivery channels including classroom, web conference delivery, e-learning and train the trainer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate training at small and large events (F2F, vILT)
- Create engaging learning activities and compelling course content
- Create supporting material/media (audio, video, simulations, role plays, games etc)
- Complete needs analysis of sales channels and offer proactive training solutions
- Collaborate with Stores, Dealers, Sales and Marketing teams to provide timely training delivery to improve the sales effectiveness of the channels
- Measure and follow up on all training designed to track training effectiveness
- Provide regular project updates, and ensure the timely completion of deliverables
Critical Qualifications:
- Training Specialists must have a proven training and presentation portfolio.
- Previous working experience in instructional design
- Lesson and curriculum planning skills
- Ability to write effective copy, instructional text, audio and video scripts
- Ability to design and deliver facilitated learning and adoption programs.
- Willing to travel up to 2030% of work time
- Bilingual communication skills (French/English)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Post secondary education in Adult Learning
- Experience facilitating learning to groups
- Understanding of adult learning principles
- Knowledge of the competitive telecommunication market
- Bilingual communication skills are a significant asset
- Strong proficiency in MS Office
- Experience working with a Learning Management System
- Experience in a corporate environment
- Experience working in a project environment to produce deliverables within a specified timeframe and budget.
