POSITION PROFILE

  • The incumbent is responsible for the deployment, operation, maintenance, and support of computer, network, and other digital and mobility equipment in assigned work areas.
    SUMMARY OF KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • 1. Tier 1 and 2 computer support 2. Hardware and software requisition 3. Ensure compliance with the ECP and Security Policy 4. Workstation support 5. Maintain service records 6. Digital device support 7. Miscellaneous IT duties
    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES
  • Tier 1 and 2 computer support_
  • Maintain proper operation of software, computer equipment and local area networks within assigned work areas
  • Hardware and software requisition_
  • Specify, request, install, and configure all hardware and software requirements within assigned work areas
  • Ensure compliance with the ECP and Security Policy_
  • Guard network and data security and ensure compliance with the Company's Electronic Communications Policy and IT department policies and procedures
  • Workstation support_
  • Assist users with proper operation and configuration of area workstations
  • Maintain service records_
  • Maintain record keeping as it pertains to work orders, purchasing, receiving, security and asset management
  • Digital device support_
  • Assist end user with support of all approved digital devices, including but not limited to cell phones
  • Miscellaneous IT duties_
  • Able to work onsite in (LOCATION) 5 days per week
  • Other Duties/Projects_
  • As assigned

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS

  • High degree and combination of skill, training and experience in basic network, hardware, and software installation and configuration. Preferably a minimum of A+ and N+ certifications
  • Complete understanding of network, hardware, software installation and configuration
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for dealing with internal customers
  • Good working knowledge of mobility devices, including Apple and Android cell phones and tablets
  • Good mechanical aptitude, including the ability to disassemble, replace parts within, and reassemble electronic devices (primarily laptops)
  • Proficient in ServiceNow for ticket handling and resolution
  • Well organized and fully capable of working without supervision
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Desktop'Server OS & MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) as well as MAC OS.
