St. Lawrence Cruise Lines Inc. is seeking applicants for the position of Supply Coordinator for a busy overnight cruise line. This is a land-based position for the cruise line and requires driving and maintaining a company vehicle, time management, communication skills, and attention to detail.
This position is Full time, Seasonal from April to November. Under company direction, the Supply Coordinator is responsible for placing orders, delivering supplies, and transporting crew members to ports along the St. Lawrence and Ottawa Rivers.
This position requires a minimum valid Class G driver's license with a clean driving record. A Class F (small bus) license is preferred and the company will assist driver with achieving that license.
The Supply Coordinator is responsible for the following:
- Transporting crew and supplies between ports including Kingston, Montreal, Ottawa/Gatineau and Quebec City
- Being available for regular communication from ship to shore
- Maintaining a clean and orderly stock room
- Maintaining an appropriate back-up supply of goods and materials
- Preparing requisitions for approval and fulfilling orders as required
- Maintaining the company vehicle and keeping it clean
Work Periods: This position will average 40+ hours/week from April to November. However, the weekly schedule will vary based on supply dates and ship locations
Wages: Seasonal, Full-time, starting at $23.00 per hour
