Responsibilities:


  • Find, review, and request changes to accounts receivable records.
  • Check file for accuracy and completeness.
  • Check for duplicate invoices.
  • Create a list of overdue accounts.
  • Send collection notices.
  • Send overdue notices.
  • Maintain a large database system.

Tasks and responsibilities
Produce and send documents to customers (invoice, proof of delivery, etc.)

Collect all relevant information for the creation of a customer account

Conduct credit surveys to assign or update credit available to clients

Ensure, when closing an account, that all payments have been made and all credits have been applied

Comply with the policies and procedures relating to accounts receivable, collections, conciliation and reporting

Improve payment times

Take the necessary steps so that customers pay inside the terms

Answer employee questions related to billing

Correct errors in billing

Grant credits up to $ 250 to clients under certain circumstances

Review the customers' credit limits

Manage limits based on accounts receivable's insurance

Manage credit risk

  • Other related tasks_

Qualifications
DEC in Accounting or equivalent

1 to 3 years of relevant experience

Experience in manufacturing and/or distribution (an asset)


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Accounting cycles

Be courteous and professional

Bilingualism (French and English)

Highly detail-oriented

Multi-tasking

Ability to prioritize

Good sense of organization

Tracking management

Knowledge of MS Office Excel

Ability to work in a team (adaptation, communication, proactivity)

Ease with the numbers


Job Types:
Full-time, Fixed term contract

Contract length: 6 months


Salary:
$46,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
