We Offer:

Competitive Pay: $20 $22 per hour depending on experience

Shift: Monday-Friday, 7:00am3:30pm

Responsibilities:

As general labourer at our Calgary Reload Division, you will:

Assist with general yard clean up and maintenance
Perform manual labour tasks and support operations
Railcar cabling (center beams of lumber) pending Fall Protection certification
General rigging, shunting trailers, forklift operation, and pneumatic loading of trailers pending certification/training
Work in adherence to all safe work practices, procedures, as well as all regulatory requirements
Suggest changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of yard, shop, department, or work crew
Other duties as assigned by manager

You Possess:

Previous general labourer or forklift experience are an asset but not required
Familiarity with power tools is an asset
A positive team attitude
A strong safety mindset with a commitment to safety protocols
Good handeye coordination
Ability to meet physical demands of the job (standing for periods of time, climbing ladders, lifting lbs, etc.)
Ability to work outside in all weather conditions
Solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environment
Must be punctual and reliable
