    Description

    Security Guard - Forensic Services & Coroner's Complex - Full-Time Days

    Duties & Responsibilities:
    • Access control
    • Enforcing COVD/ site restrictions
    • Good communication skills
    • Display excellent customer service skills
    • Ability to work indoors and outdoors for long periods of time
    • Inform security personnel about persons of interest or escalated scenarios
    • Physically fit and able to stand and walk for long periods of time
    • Assist visitors with directions as required
    • Proactive & reactive security patrols
    • Response to incidents
    • Report writing
    • Investigate routine incidents

    Replacing the 35-year-old facility near Yonge and College, the new Forensic Services and Coroner's Complex (FSCC) is set to revolutionize forensics in Canada with its state-of-the-art facility, capable of keeping pace with technological advances and supporting increasingly complicated investigations. The 50,000 square-metre complex, which will serve as the headquarters for the Ontario Forensic Pathology Service, the Office of the Chief Coroner, and the Centre of Forensic Sciences, contains five floors centered around an expansive atrium, as well as one underground floor.
