The Opportunity
We are searching for an
Account Manager - Group Benefits who will work in our London, Ontario office. As the Account Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day account management of assigned client accounts. Our approach is warm and our relationships are everything with these client groups.


Key Responsibilities

  • You will have consultative conversations with your internal branch partners and with each of your clients to create a customized annual strategy.
  • You have a strong passion to build and nurture relationships with new and existing clients, focusing on client retention by ensuring service excellence.
  • You will utilize your diverse benefits expertise, including diverse funded plans, to support your clients' daytoday needs, prepare and present renewals, negotiate with carriers, analyze reports, trends and interpret benchmark data.
  • You will identify opportunities to crosssolve through the sale of additional services and coverage levels.
  • Maintain client information using our singlesource digital relationship management tool
  • Stay current on all industry and carrier partner changes
  • You will be a change adopter and activist to advance our operational responsibilities including our various branch initiatives and priorities

Qualifications and Skills

  • Postsecondary graduate from an accredited college or university degree or a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
  • LLQP and CEBS are considered strong assets
  • Exceptional critical thinking; ability to identify optimal solutions for clients and mitigate possible risks
  • Good judgement to quickly determine and prioritize key issues
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Ability to work in a team environment and demonstrate ownership of actions
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Pleasant and professional communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Positive attitude with a desire to grow and learn
  • Ability to deliver high quality work in a timely manner
  • Occasional travel required outside of the assigned region
