We're funded by Canada's federal, provincial, and territorial governments, with the exception of Quebec, to provide independent information and advice to the country's publicly funded health care systems.

Health administrators and policy experts rely on CADTH to inform their decisions about the funding and appropriate use of the drugs, devices, and services used to prevent, diagnose, and treat medical conditions.

CADTH is proud to be a 2024 National Capital Region Top Employer.

This recognition celebrates CADTH's dedication to fostering a workplace environment that nurtures growth, innovation, and IDEA — inclusion, diversity, equity, and accessibility.

It reaffirms our ongoing efforts to create an outstanding workplace where our employees thrive and feel valued.

- provide direction on developing and improving mechanisms to ensure the program delivers the greatest value, following best practices for evidence synthesis and delivery of products for medical devices and clinical interventions, such as health technology assessments, optimal use products, rapid reviews, horizon scans, and environmental scans
- ensure that direct reports deliver effective reports that communicate the research findings to meet customers' needs (e.g., clinical reviews, briefing papers)
- guide new internal research staff and external reviewers to ensure the quality of the reports meets corporate requirements
- act as the primary contact between the research teams and the Health Technology Expert Review Panel (HTERP) and lead the development of reports and recommendations through HTERP
