Monday

  • Friday 6:00AM2:30PM *Shift flexibility required* **(*Note

North Star Woodbridge is seeking a highly motivated
Maintenance Technician to join our team. You will be partnered with a team of Engineers and Manufacturing Staff to help support the daily activities associated with sustaining a thriving door manufacturing facility. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, installing or dismantling machinery and equipment, as required to support company initiatives. In addition to repairing and maintaining mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, this position may require diagnosing and solving electrical issues with plant equipment. This position is
Straight Days; Monday-Friday, however, shift flexibility is required for the role, to meet production demand and important deadlines.


Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure work performed adheres to relevant safety regulations, codes and specifications.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on machines and equipment.
  • Answer breakdown calls, troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, or pneumatic problems with associated equipment.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify potential problems and address them proactively.
  • Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to track work orders, inventory and maintenance history.
  • Fabricate or modify parts as needed to ensure proper functioning of equipment.
  • Collaborate with other team members to prioritize and complete maintenance tasks.
  • Interpret blueprints and schematics to determine work procedures.
