We are currently hiring for the position of:

ACCOUNTS PAYABLE COORDINATOR

  • The Accounts Payable coordinator will support the Accounts Payable team and the Finance Coordinator. This entails assisting in the payment process of vendor invoices and cheque requests and processing monthly adjustments. The coordinator will assist in the reconciliation and processing for concessions and retail revenues, coordinating and processing staff expenses and petty cash for reimbursement.
The coordinator will also maintain well organised electronic filing of all AP and related documentation.


RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Shall include but not limited to:
  • Reviewing of vendor invoices for entry into Netsuite system.
  • Processing of invoices and cheque requests submitted for payment.-
  • Assist in the printing of all computer cheques for A/P, ensuring invoices are payed in a timely manner within credit period, and that cheques are mailed or delivered correctly.-
  • Digital filing of documents.-
  • Assist with the review of Retail and Concessions transactions for entry into Netsuite system.-
  • Other administrative duties, as required

JOB GRADE & SALARY:


  • Job Grade 1
  • Salary Range: $25.

75 Hourly
TARGET CONTRACT DATES**:


  • June 17, October 31, 2024
    WORK LOCATION:
Office Location: 350 King Street West, Toronto, ON M5V 3X5 Weekly in-office requirements:
  • Minimum 2 days (November to May)
  • Minimum 3 days (June to October)
  • Festival Office Requirements: Full Time during Festival
    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
  • A university degree or college diploma in accounting/finance or currently enrolled in a post-secondary institution program in accounting/ finance or has previous training or experience in accounting.-
  • Experience and/or educational background in accounting.-
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills with extreme attention to detail, diligent record-keeping, and the ability to effectively prioritize tasks.-
  • Strong computer and data management skills.-
  • Strong, effective, and professional communicator and strong interpersonal skills-
  • Responds to change with flexibility, nimbleness, and a positive attitude.-
  • Adaptable to a flexible work schedule including some evenings.-
  • This position requires being in office on a regular basis.
