Description

GRIT Engineering Inc. provides professional consulting services in site plan development, land development, municipal review, surveying, and geotechnical engineering.


Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Work as a member of a multidisciplinary team to ensure the successful completion of all projects
  • Providing leadership, guidance, training, evaluation and expertise to junior and intermediate technicians
  • Capable of completing plan review for completeness of survey
  • Provide technical expertise in the areas of safety, surveying methods, and practices
  • Maintain detailed and accurate field records
  • Develop and oversee detailed land survey plans
  • Utilize GNSS, Robotic Total Stations, and Levelling survey equipment
  • Conduct topographical surveys
  • Create and maintain detailed survey information
  • Accurately indicate elevations, property lines and land contours
  • Accurately manage spatial data
  • Interpret aerial photographs
  • Interact with governing bodies, planners, landowners, real estate agents and other interested parties

Education Requirement
BSc. in Applied Science, Geology or its equivalent.

OR

Completion of an accredited surveying/geomatics program an asset.

  • Knowledge of Trimble field software an asset

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
$70,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
