Your strong interest in building a career as a leading Economist, coupled with the self-motivation and dedication to achieve this, will be paramount to your success in the position.
Two years of related work experience is required, while experience working as an Economist is preferred; Bank of Canada or Ministry of Finance) or a private-sector role (e.g.
at a financial institution)Proficiency in Excel is required, with advanced proficiency preferred
A high level of academic achievement in an Economics or Finance discipline
A passion for working with data and using it to help the team communicate its views on the macroeconomy and financial markets
Experience with Macrobond and/or Python is considered an asset
