Description

Responsibilities:

Budgeting, forecasting, variance reporting and analysis. Communicating results to business team and HQ finance team to enhance and enable decision making.
Working with the game development team and other supporting team to prepare game product life-cycle budgeting both from finance and business perspective.
Providing daily support to business team as a finance business partner, building strong relationships with business team and HQ finance team and providing financial reporting and ad-hoc analysis.
Collecting and reviewing day-to-day AP reimbursement, and preparing related journal entry booking. Analyzing accounts payable processes, suggesting improvements, and participating in the implementation of improvement projects.
Preparing GL journal entries, reconciliations and supporting schedules; Performing accounting close and reporting process, assuring that month-end close tasks and reconciliations are completed on the assigned due dates.

Qualifications:

1. 5+ years of work experience is a must, at least 3 years working in similar corporate accounting and financial analysis role in the game industry;

Bachelor degree or above, major in accounting and financial management is preferred; Familiar with accounting standards and relevant laws and regulations;
Strong analytical skills, excellent communication skills, keen attention to detail, advanced proficiency in data processing and data presentation, flexible to cross-time zone communication and work cooperation;
Use English as the daily working language, with Chinese communication ability preferred;
Travel to other offices in Canada may be required.

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent

Pay:
$75,000.00-$115,000.00 per year
