    • Reviewing and evaluating new administrative procedures
    • Delegating work to office support staff
    • Establishing work priorities and ensuring procedures are followed and deadlines are met
    • Carrying out administrative activities of establishment
    • Administering policies and procedures related to the release of records in processing requests under government access to information and privacy legislation
    • Coordinating and planning office services
    • Assisting in the preparation of operating budget and maintaining inventory and budgetary controls
    • Assembling data and preparing periodic and special reports, manuals, and correspondence

    Experience

    • 7 months to less than 1 year

    • Offering workshops, counselling services, and resources
    • Supporting skills translation and offering flexible onboarding

    Support for Indigenous people

    • Participating in programs supporting Indigenous people
    • Offering mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities
    • Developing relationships with Indigenous communities and organizations
    • Providing cultural competency training to create a welcoming work environment
    • Facilitating access to Elders for support and guidance
