is currently searching for Wellhead Technicians to provide services in Grande Prairie, Red Deer, Calgary and Sundre areas. The areas of work involve travel across Alberta.

Wage:
$25-$32/hour, based off experience

15/6 Rotation

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Assist in the Installation, operation and removal of frac heads, coil heads, frac manifolds and accumulators
- Assist in the installation, removal and operation of the ball and gyro launching systems, including hydraulic equipment
- Operate a manlift safely
- Equipment transport to field locations, utilizing knowledge of proper load securement
- Ability to prepare a truck on location, including spotting, hoses, outrigger pads, etc.
- Ability to troubleshoot on location with little to no supervision
- Knowledge of greasing and properly pressuring test tools
- Assist in the shop; including load/unload equipment, maintain trucks/trailers, equipment assembly/disassembly, shop/yard maintenance
- Safely operate hand tools
- Ability to perform general maintenance on equipment
- Exhibit excellent housekeeping practices in the field, shop, and company vehicles
- Ensure punctuality for both shop and field work
- Consistently complete and submit paperwork neatly, in full and in a timely matter, including but not limited to driver logbooks, Field Service Orders, Hazard Assessments (field and shop), Work Order Requests for Maintenance on company vehicles and equipment, Pre and Post Trip documentation, Field Job Notes, and Job Tracking Sheet, etc.
- Complete timesheets, requests, and schedules electronically within GNWFs time tracking system with accuracy, consistency and in a timely matter
- Familiarize yourself of GNWF/OH&S Health & Safety Policy and Procedure manual
- Always wear all required PPE in the shop and in the field
- Complete and maintain all required safety training and refresher courses
- Report all incidents, as required. Assist in incident investigations, as needed
- Interact with customers and coworkers in a professional and courteous manner and maintain a positive attitude
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in all forms with management, coworkers and customers
- Conduct yourself in a professional manner whenever representing GNWF
- Demonstrate a positive attitude in all interactions
- Complete written test for Class 3 learners, within 6 months of hire (if a Class 5 driver's licence is held)
- Obtain Class 3 licence, within one year of hire
- Remain actively enrolled in the Alberta Crane and Hoisting Equipment Operator
- Wellhead Boom Truck apprenticeship program
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
- Class 5 Q Driver's License, maintaining a safe driving record
- H2S, First Aid and CSO certifications.
- Fall Arrest and Ariel platform certifications an asset
- Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently.
- Strong work ethic, mechanical aptitude, and commitment to safety.
Schedule:
- 12 hour shift
Supplemental pay types:
