UCSH is looking for a full time
Shop Helper position. This is an onsite position in our Port Coquitlam office.

WHAT'S THE JOB ABOUT?

Reporting to the Production Manager, the Shop Helper position is responsible to maintain the cleanliness of the production floor and provide assistance on the production floor.

Some of the work you will do, but not limited to:

Maintain the production floor clean and organized
Prepare materials for production floor
Work closely with the foreperson in loading and unloading materials and equipment
Learn and assist in fabrication and welding
Comply with all company occupational health and safety policies.
Other duties as assigned

WE ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE LIKE YOU WHO HAS:

Minimum high school diploma or
2 years of experience working in a fast paced environment
Knowledge of welding is an asset
Forklift License is an asset
Excellent physical condition and coordination to be able to lift up to 50lbs
Must have a reliable transportation
Willingness to learn and adapt
Good communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
