Overview/Position:
You will produce machined parts by programming, setting up, and operating a CNC machine; maintaining quality and safety standards; keeping records; maintaining equipment and supplies.
Responsibilities:
Duties are, but not limited to:
- Plans machining process by studying work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, materials, specifications.
- Programs CNC mills and lathes by utilizing conversational editor (Mazatrol) and MasterCAM.
- Setsup and operates mills and lathes, verifies settings by measuring positions, firstrun part, adjusts machines and optimizes programs.
- Have creative solutions for fixtures, jigs, and tooling for efficient machining operations.
- Inspects finished parts with various measuring tools and completes inspection report.
- Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
- Maintains equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs.
- Other duties as required.
Minimum Qualifications:
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years' work experience with CNC machining and minimum 2 years' work experience on Mazak vertical or horizontal mill.
- Proficient in operating CNC lathes and mills.
- Familiar with Mazatrol programming and Mazatrol parameter setting.
- Good knowledge of automatic programming by utilizing MasterCAM software.
- Good knowledge of various materials such as Stainless steels, super alloys and so on.
- Familiar with various of machining tools and machining method.
- Able to lift and handle materials weighing up to 50 lbs.

- Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
- Willingness to work overtime.
Preferred Experience
- Journeyman Certification is preferred.
- Warehouse/Manufacturing experience is an asset.
Salary:
Wage shall commensurate with skills and experience.
