We are seeking our next Quality Control and Quality Assurance Coordinator within our Civil East Division who will be responsible for performing in-process and final inspections to ensure construction activities meet technical and quality requirements.
Ensure understanding of quality issues, including risks and opportunities, and effective implementation of the quality planPerform quality inspections and testing activities in accordance with the Inspection and Test Plan
Understand and interpret technical drawings for civil works
Collaborate in the development and maintenance of project specific procedures and work instructions
Collaborate with management for interface on Quality activities with internal or external organizations (customers, suppliers, subcontractors, and others)
Help organize internal and external audits
Verify that calibrated equipment is used during the performance of inspection activities
Perform other activities as required by management
Civil Engineering Technology Diploma or equivalent. 3 to 5 years' experience in heavy civil and/or infrastructure construction
Previous experience with inspection and testing of concrete
2, CSA N291 and CSA N287 standards and other applicable building regulations
CSA W178 Level 1 or 2 Visual Welding Inspection (preferred)
Proficiently with Excel
Ability to communicate effectively, both verbal and written, with all internal organizational departments, Alliance partners, subcontractors, and regulatory authorities
