Description

Federated Co-operatives Limited is hiring an Accounting Technician on a permanent basis at our Home Office in Saskatoon, SK reporting to the Accounting Supervisor.

Who we are:

What you'll do:

You will work as part of a collaborative and social team with open communication.

You will also have the opportunity to support various functions of the corporate accounting team including processing, accounts payables, and operations.

You will prepare journal entries and payable adjustments, correcting as necessary.
You will prepare, process, and provide supporting documents for supplier claims and receiving adjustments as required. This will include completing 'action required' on damage and shortage reports.
You will create manual claims, investigate claim disputes, and prepare journal entries using the correct company ID general ledger codes.
You will sort documents for processing or distribution, key data into the system, and attach backups where required.
Other duties as required.

Who you are**:

You are looking for a career in Finance and:

You have a high school diploma and two post-secondary courses in financial accounting from an accredited post-secondary institution.
You have a minimum of one year of relevant accounting experience.
