Job Description:

The Specialist, Corporate Sales is a sales-oriented role that will focus on the development of business partnerships for Indigo.

The Specialist will be a process expert who is equally comfortable balancing term negotiations, engaging new accounts and customer service.

This role is accountable for seeking high value accounts and servicing existing accounts, while creating and executing efficient processes.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Functional

  • Execute the Corporate Sales Strategy to achieve revenue targets
  • Use data and research tools to prospect, identify opportunities, and provide recommendations
  • Ensure adequate instock position of high demand products and overall profitability of corporate sales
  • Support end to end process redesign, removing unnecessary work and focusing on work that aligns with the strategy and adds value
  • Provide corporate sales inventory and sales support, including inventory management, sales lead generation, and client order follow up
  • Initiate discussions with potential new partners to understand their needs and objectives
  • Engage with buyers from large corporations and institutions, including existing clients, to promote our corporate gift card/sales program
  • Regularly review accounts and order history to identify sales opportunities to grow year over year sales
  • Continually reimagine the status quo and build breakthrough partnerships for new and existing Indigo partners
  • Mobilize internal crossfunctional experts, creating advocates for new partnerships and unlocking new opportunities
  • Actively source product that augments the customer experience and inspires customers to purchase
  • Act as an advocate for the customer by placing them at the forefront of all decisionmaking and design processes
  • Proactively identify and anticipate customer expectations and needs
  • Embrace and seek out technology that creates high tech and high touch solutions for Indigo's customers
  • Challenge the status quo by consistently identifying areas for improvement, diagnosing issues and working to resolve them

Qualifications:

Work Experience / Education / Certifications

  • University degree in business or a related field
  • 35 years of experience in buying and category management of specialty or equivalent in customer service
