Description

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:


  • Pickups and Deliveries. Reviewing daily pickup and delivery priorities. Identifying items for delivery and ensuring the shipping paperwork is accurate. Safely operate a forklift, pallet jack and other equipment to load and unload up to 10,000lb products at SMS Equipment locations, 3PL, Komatsu Warehouse and other sublets.

Safe Driving. Safe and compliant operation of SMS company vehicles in line with legislation and company policy. Maintain driving and service logs and ensure checklists are completed. Inspect the cleanliness, maintenance, and scheduling of the company vehicle.

Warehouse Work. As required, pick, sort, and pack parts for delivery. Ship and receive parts including packing products, preparing shipping instructions, and writing and printing mailing labels.


Qualifications:


  • Experience maintaining drivers' and maintenance logs
  • Highly motivated and able to work in a fast paced environment
  • Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Strong focus on providing valuable customer service
  • Ability to lift and move heavy products consistently on a daily basis while on a delivery or pickup, if not using other material handling equipment
  • Forklift experience
  • WHMIS, and TDG training certification is an asset
  • Warehouse or relevant experience is an asset
