Job Summary

Working under the direction of the Project Manager, the Emergency Services Manager's essential functions are as follows:

  • Assist Project Manager and Construction Manager on all assigned projects
  • Provide daily notes to the project manager
  • Manage the Emergency Services Equipment inventory in company software
  • Manage Emergency Technicians, subtrades and assist with on-site work as assigned.
  • Ensure accurate clock-in and clock-out times are posted for the job
  • Ensure constant communication with the Client and all parties involved throughout the project
  • Implement and preform quality checks to ensure that IICRC guidelines are strictly complied with on all work site projects assigned.
  • Provide daily moisture mapping & humidity readings
  • Ensure Hudson Health & Safety policies are implemented and full adhered to all work sites, inclusive of daily (end of day) cleanliness at such work site
  • Develop & utilize a strong working knowledge of product, equipment and computer programs
  • Determine the correct PPE required by all works on site and inspect them to ensure that the PPE used is in good working order
  • Put in place all other H&S hazard precautions such as ventilation
  • Carry out emergency response procedures such as pumping out water, cleaning and removing drywall
  • Clean the effected area exercising extreme caution
  • Collect all hazardous materials using outline safety procedures
  • Dispose of all hazardous materials, following all legislative directives and written company policies
  • Categorize and record contents within company software
  • Perform board ups, assist with post-construction cleaning when needed
  • Other duties as required.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

  • 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday
  • Availability to be on call once a month
  • Onsite locations and office when necessary.
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs
  • Sustained periods of standing, sitting, bending and kneeling

Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years restoration experience. Xactimate & Encircle experience considered an asset.

Valid Drivers License

Ability to pass a background check

Health and Safety Representative experience considered an asset

Remuneration :
$25/hr to $30/hr based on experience. Benefits and vehicle provided upon completion of probationary period.
