Clearco is a company built by founders for founders, and we're laser-focused on our mission to help entrepreneurs succeed. The Payments Associate will work with our founders regarding all payment plans and account inquiries. They will be working collaboratively across many different functions including Finance, Customer Success, and Partnerships.

What your day-to-day will look like:

Respond, investigate, and resolve customer issues by examining customer payment plans and their payment history
Identify daytoday problem accounts, the source of the problem, and underlying issues
Work in close partnership with internal teams to resolve customer concerns
Invoice and update payment information for our customer accounts
Work closely with the Payments Manager to help resolve problems and provide quantitative feedback to build scalable processes and solutions
Generate reports and build data sets to make insightful recommendations and decisions to support the success of the team

You will thrive if you have:

2+ years of previous work experience in a Customer Service, Collections or Finance/Accounting role
A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Accounting/Finance and/or a related field
Previous experience in a leadership and/or mentorship role
A strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel
Stellar negotiation skills
An analytical mindset

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills you have the ability to navigate through difficult conversations with professionalism while maintaining a calm and empathetic demeanour
Excellent time management and organizational skills you are able to handle multiple priorities simultaneously
Problemsolver abilities you are able to think outside the box and find creative solutions to problems
The ability to deliver results independently and working in a team environment
Previous experience with SQL (considered an asset)
Experience with Salesforce + Salesforce reporting (considered an asset)
Demonstrated the ability to thrive in a fastpaced work environment
