Description
The individual will function as part of a team engaged in the research activities of the Ottawa Stroke Program.

This individual's role will be to focus on ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, corresponding with the research ethics board and various other institutions, and supporting patient-facing research activities.

This individual will support multiple coordinators and clinicians in a variety of clinical research activities.


Basic Requirements (Education/Experience):


  • Experience coordinating and managing clinical trials
  • Postsecondary degree or diploma in health sciences, clinical research, or related field
  • Strong computer skills, in particular teleconferencing with Zoom, MS Teams, etc
  • Superior interpersonal skills
  • Experience and comfort with patients and caregivers
  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be eligible to work in Canada
  • Evidence of training certification in Tri-Council Policy Statement 2 (TCPS2) and the International Conference on Harmonization
  • Good Clinical Practice Guidelines (ICH-GCP)
  • Evidence of training in Food and Drug Regulations, Division 5, and/or Device Regulations

Preferred Qualification

  • Experience coordinating a regulated multicenter clinical trial
  • Experience with clinical trial monitoring
  • Experience with Epic EMR
  • Experience with Redcap

Contract Details:

This is a 1- year full-time contract with the possibility of renewal


Salary:
Min $ $24.682/hr


  • Max:
$29.076/hr.
