POSITION:
International Coordinator - Full-time

LOCATION:
Mississauga, ON

START DATE:
Term commences as soon as possible

Duties and Responsibilities:

Coordinate all aspects of shipment process, including booking, emanifest, bills of lading and billing;
Prepares Air & Ocean Import & Export documents for customs clearance;
Review all shipment documentation to confirm accuracy and perform data input to open file;
Ensure all client special instructions are followed;
Familiar with INCO Terms, along with working with International agents around the world;
Assist other team members as needed to ensure timely completion of work;
Maintain effective relationship with clients and answer general inquiries regarding shipment status;
Tracking status with truckers & ocean and air carriers and keeping clients/agents advised of status;
Ensure shipments are released in a timely manner by communicating with customs brokers and cargo is delivered in a timely manner;
Perform billing function including preparing client invoice and all required support documents.

Requirements & Qualifications:

Min 12 years' experience in the freight industry
Capable of handling large volumes of work accurately;
Good organizational skills;
Excellent computer skills
Strong problemsolving ability;
Ability to work independently;
Be able to work effectively in a team environment;
Effective communication skills;
Ability to perform daily job functions in mature and professional manner.
